Cardiac Catheterization

Cardiac catheterization allows precise anatomic and functional evaluation of cardiovascular diseases.  Numerous questions can be answered in the cardiac "cath lab", particularly regarding coronary artery disease and heart function.  The information gathered during a cardiac catheterization will inform you and your physician if further intervention is necessary, such as angioplasty, stents or bypass surgery.
