Financial Arrangements
Fees for office visits and procedures are based on the cost of the procedure and the amount of professional time and skill involved. Additional costs for test analysis and report preparation may apply. You are encouraged to discuss charges with a Clinic cashier before any tests are performed.
Payment Policy
Payment for professional services is due at the time of service. When insurance is filed, the patient still is responsible for charges. If you need to make payment arrangements, please contact the Patient Accounts Office immediately at (806) 358-0277. Accounts with a balance of more than 60 days may be subject to a $25 service charge. You also may choose to pay by MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover or debit card.
Insurance
Please ensure you have provided current information to Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic in order for us to file your insurance claim. For many managed care programs, patients are required only to pay co-payments and deductibles at the time of service. Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic will then file with your insurance company for you. We allow 30-45 days for most insurance companies to pay. If you need more information, please contact the Patient Accounts Office at (806) 358-0277.
Medicare “Participating” Provider
The Clinic will file your Medicare claim for you. Medicare will pay the Clinic, minus your deductible, for 80 percent of the amount they approve. If you have supplemental insurance in addition to Medicare, we will file that claim for you also. You will be responsible for 20 percent of the approved charge that Medicare or your supplement does not pay on your annual deductible. Most Medicare supplement policies will pay for the full 20 percent.
